Accessibility
Built to be usable by everyone.
AdellaElectrical is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We design and build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and keep improving as standards and our products evolve.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by U.S. courts and ADA Title III guidance for web accessibility.
What is in place
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a single
<main>per page. - A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels; grouped controls exposed as labelled groups.
- Status and validation messages announced through live regions.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Alt text on informative images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting. langset on the document; layout reflows at 320px and supports 200% zoom.
Known limitations
We are transparent about what is still in progress:
- Some data-visualization graphics convey detail that a concise text alternative does not fully capture; we are adding text-equivalent summaries.
- Color contrast on a small number of accent elements is under review against our brand system.
- We have not yet completed structured testing with assistive-technology users; it is on our roadmap.
